CHIN-CHIN

INGREDIENTS:   
Four (4 cups), grounded sugar (1/2 cup), milk (1/2 cup), flavour (nutmeg or grounded lemon), butter (125g), eggs (2), baking powder (1 spoon), water, groundnut oil, salt (pinch).

METHOD:              
Sift the flour and make a well in the centre. Beat the eggs, add sugar and flavor and mix in the flour. Add sufficient milk or water to bind stiff dough and knead until smooth. Roll out the pastry; 1/4-1/2 cm thick and cut into cubes, small triangles or strings. Fry in hot groundnut oil. If turns brown, drain it and allow it to get cool. Store in air tight container.
