MEAT PIE

INGREDIENTS:   
Four (4 cups), butter (125g or 250g/2), baking powder (1 tea spoon), salt (pinch), beef, curry, nutmeg, Irish potatoes, carrots, onions, pepper, thyme, maggi, water, vegetable oil, egg (for brushing).

METHOD:              
Mix the baking powder and the salt, add the butter and the vegetable oil mix with water; mix them very well until the dough do not stick on your hand. It must be very smooth.
Now you can prepare your fillings: grand or mince the meat, add curry, nutmeg, thyme and little salt (1/2 tea spoon). Add 3-5 table spoonful of water and boil for about 10mins. Peel and slice potatoes, carrot and onions; you can cut them to the size of ¼ of a cube of sugar. Boil all together, adding pepper and magi cube for 10mins, add more water; make sure it’s not  watery.
After cooking, put the mixed flour on the table and flatten, kneading it with rolling wood or a clean bottle. Then you cut to size of your choice and put on its center 3 table spoons of your fillings and fold it, use fork to press the edges. Then you paint or brush the body with whisked egg and bake it in the oven for 20mins.
